Intense competition in December philological
offered this year our institute has two new victory. 17.12.2011 was
held the regional stage II of the International Language and
Literature Competition. Shevchenko, which took second place student
DITB Semkiv Catherine.

new heights in the public stages of competitions!
DITB 45 students from 12 to 18 of December 2011 are involved as
volunteers at World Ice Hockey Championships, which takes place in
the best Ice Palace Ukraine, worked from 25 to 27 of November 2011
during the Continental Cup. Championship teams taking part in
Ukraine, Hungary, the Netherlands, Korea, Spain, Lithuania.
43
students of Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business, from 6 to 12 of
November 2011 took part as volunteers in the 90-th Annual Convention
of the World Boxing Association (WBA), showing a high level of
English and Spanish.
Gained experience in dealing with foreign
visitors from more than 200 countries around the world helped
students improve language skills, and provided the impetus to
choosing the right profession. As a result of meetings the Mayor
noted the excellent work thank-you letter.

By the fifteenth Donetsk
Institute of Tourist Business along with the entire country
celebrated public holiday of Ukrainian literature and language. This
year it acquired the exclusive celebration in our school and spread
to commemorate not only the classics of national culture, but also
representatives of the Ukrainian literature of the Donetsk
region.
Active participation in organizing festival was the 2-nd
year students who had persistent search for work and little-known
works of famous masters of the Ukrainian word embodied in bright
stengazeta (wallpaper). The winner was group number MO-10 W.
In
honor of the Ukrainian language and literature was conducted festive
costume literary evening where the audience admired the beauty of
Ukrainian songs, melodies lyrical words passionately energetic
national dance.
An important event was the readings with the
participation of famous contemporary poet of Ukraine Borys Byelash.
There were warm atmosphere of the meeting, sincere lyrics inspired
by the author, contributed to the active involvement of students and
teachers to read the works of talented compatriot. The highlight
event was the presentation of a poet of books with a personal
dedication to all participants in the evening.
And 1-st stage at
the XII International Ukrainian Language Competition dedicated to P.
Jacyk where 31 students fought for victory it was opened new names
of winners to our Institute.

October 26 in the Donetsk Regional Universal Scientific Library
named after Krupskaya regional studies have been reading "Tours to
the" EURO 2012 ", in which the Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business
were presented to tourism directory" Donetsk region ", and
sightseeing tours for Donetsk and its region.
Chairman of the
Student Scientific Society of Alexandra Kuzmenko acquainted with the
catalog of tourism resources, "Donetsk region", which was developed
by order of the German Society for International Cooperation.
(GIZ).
The catalog consists of 13 thematic sections, which are
distributed to 35 programs of tours. Description of tours
accompanied by 170 colorful photographs. The developers have tried
to show the entire catalog of rich resource potential of the Donetsk
region, which includes the sea and forest, chalk hill, cultural and
historical monuments, religious shrines and objects of industrial
tourism.

Vakareva Anna told about sightseeing routes developed teachers of
the institute. We have more than 42 tours of the Donetsk region.
These are the tours as "white gold Soledar", "Donetsk - the
beginning of all routes," "Forged Tale", "Donetsk sports," "Streets
of Old Yuzovka" and many others.
Teachers and students of the
institute will conduct these excursions in Russian, Ukrainian and
foreign languages: English, Spanish, Italian, French, German,
Bulgarian, Chinese, and Arabic.
Tours are designed around the
most interesting and fascinating places with both scientific and
from a cognitive point of view. A variety of tour itineraries will
surprise even the most discerning travelers.

Dmitriev took place in the IV Ukrainian Student Olympiad in
Religious Studies, held at the State University of Informatics and
Artificial Intelligence (Donetsk). We wish you continued success and

DITB participation at the All Ukrainian
Student council meeting under the jurisdiction of the
Ministry
At the 10th-12th of December 2009 the first
All Ukrainian Student council meeting under the
jurisdiction of the Ministry was held. The council consisted of 183
Ukrainian Institutions of Higher Education. The DITB was presented
by the First Deputy Head of student government Artem
Afanasyev.
In the course of meeting the Council
managerial personnel was chosen and Break-out sessions were held
where actual student problems were discussed.
Students met the
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, the
Minister of Education and Science Ivan Vakarchuk, the
Minister for Youth, Family and Sport affairs Yuri
Pavlenko and chiefs of other ministries and departments.
The
main tasks of the All Ukrainian Student council became proposals
concerning formation and realization of the state politics in the
sphere of High Education, definition of the solution methods of the
students’ social and economic problems.
Organized meeting of the
Council was held in Kiev in the health complex
«Puscha-Ozerna».
Volunteers of DITB carried out
their mission enthusiastically!!!
September 19 of
2009 in the palace «Junost» Donetsk Regional Council, Donetsk
Regional Administration in the name of the deputy chief Adamov B.I.,
Education and Science Administration congratulated solemnly and
handed certificates and diplomas UEFA to the volunteers,
witch took part in the holding of the junior football
championship «åURO - 2009». 23 volunteers – guides and 8 volunteers
of the information center of Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business
made their contribution to the holding of the championship and
represented worthily our region at high level. A deputy Head of
Culture and Tourisme Department Kobets O.K. thanked the President of
DITB Kuzmenko A.V. and all teaching staff tremendously for a good
preparation of the volunteers.

December 20, 2008 the Second stage of the 9th Yatsik
International Competition in Ukrainian Language in Donetsk National
University was held. We congratulate our students who won this
competition: Kirichenko Yevgen, (group íï – 08 á) – the second
place, Dolga Kristina (group íï – 08 E) – the third place
.
Parliamentary
debates
December 16, 2008
at the Donetsk Institute of Tourist business Debate tournament
«Economy crisis in Ukraine in constructive» took place. Teachers and
students took place in this tournament.
The Government team was represented by Liudmila V. Kretinina,
Candidate in Economics, Professor and the Master’s Programme 5th
year student Yekaterina Kovaleva; the Opposition team was
represented by Igor L. Semichastnyy, Candidate in Engineering,
Professor, and Dmitriy Salikov, the 3rd year student.
It has already became a tradition in DITB to organize debates
between teacher and students so the mixed teams competition was
organized for the first time. Panel of judges consisted of Vitaliy
V. Razumnyy, Candidate in History, Docent, Sergey V.
Semenchenko, international tournaments judge; and the 3rd year
students Larionov Sergey who had won the debate tournaments several
times.
The topic have aroused a big deal of audience’s interest. After
the game was finished the new discussion occurred between the
teachers and the audience. Igor L. Semichastnyy, Candidate in
Engineering, Professor, by common consent was chosen the best player
of the tournament and the Opposition was chosen the team that showed
best its oratorical
skills.
November 27, 2008 in Red Line Night Club of Victoria Hotel
Complex the Party of Club of the cheerful and sharp-witted (KVN
humor show) organized by Sergey Grinevich took place. DITB selected
team entertained very well the students who came at the show.
Anton Kuzmenko, Sergey Sokolov, Nikita Chebotenko, Denis
Sidelnik, Sergey Larionov, Andrey Trunov, Nikolay Lutsenko, Dmitriy
Borovskiy, Christina Iliushina, Taisiya Kravchenko, Yuliya Perunova,
Kseniya Drachiuk took an active part in preparations and carrying
out of the show.
As a part of International Students’ Day the Kyivsky district
festival of youth creativity Students’ Mosaic took place in the
premises of Gorkiy Culture Centre the 5th-6th November, 2008. All
the Higher Educational Institutions of Kyivsky district took place
in this event. Students of DITB won in two nominations!
In
nomination «Vocal and Choral Art» the winner was 1st year student
Zherdeva Luisa with the song «Namalyuyu tobi zori»; in nomination×
ÎÏÍÉÎÁÃÉÉ «Work of Authorship» the prize-winning place was taken by
Kudra Yekaterina, the first year student of DITB.
13th of November, 2008 Ç. the Kyivsky District Council for
Culture, Family and Youth in Donetsk summarized rating competition
dedicated to Students’ Day amongst the Higher Educational
Institutions, Technical Schools and Higher Professional Schools of
the Kyiv district. The second year student Alexandra Kuzmenko
won in nomination «Initiative and the best knowledge». Wish you

Day
November 6-17, 2008 in Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business
the events dedicated to the celebration of the Students’ Day took
place.
13-14 of November the Higher Educational Establishments’
Students’ Exhibition of the Achievements in Scientific Researches,
Community Service and Sports.
Students of DITB took an active
part in district festival of Youth Creativity Students’
Mosaic.
November 17, 2008 the best students of DITB (of 1st – 4th
years) were awarded the Honorable Certificates by Valentin F.
Danilchuk and Viktor I. Rukhlyadin, Rector and Deputy Rector of DITB
for the excellent knowledge and active participation in life of the
institute.
November, 17 debate tournament on the topic “It is
easy to be a student” organized by Larisa D. Podolskaya, Docent of
the humanitarian Chair, Head of the Psychological Center took
place.
13-17 of November the competition among wall newspapers
dedicated to Students’ Day took place.

Ukrainian
Literature Day
November, 9
Ukraine celebrated The Ukrainian Literature Day, declared by the
Order of the President Leonid Kuchma in honor of reverend Nestor
Letopisets.
On the occasion of the National Holiday in Donetsk Institute of
Tourist Business a number of festive occasions were held.
According to the tradition the First stage of P. Yatsik
International Competition in Ukrainian Language took place. At the
Institute Competition 40 best 1st year students participated.
Christina Doma (group MO-08E) took the 1st place, Olena Antipova
(group MO-08B) took the 2nd place, Yevgen Kyrychenko (group MO-08A)
took the 3rd place. The winners of the competition were awarded with
the Certificates of Merit.
On the occasion of the National Holiday the students of the
full-time course have prepared individual works dedicated to
different aspects of the establishment and development of the
Ukrainian nationality. At the discussions the lesser-known and
prohibited pages of Ukrainian culture of 20th century were
discovered. Particular attention of the students was drawn towards
the personalities of the famous authors repressed during the times
of Soviet Union. National development would not be possible without
these personalities, among them are: M.F. Chernyavskiy, M.Yu.
Shapoval, V.S. Stus, V.M. Sosiura and other Donetsk poets.
Students were very interested in decorating the Institute in
occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Literature. Wall newspapers were
dedicated to the different aspects of Ukrainian literature and
reflected achievements of ancient Ukrainian literature, such as
history of creating Tale of Bygone Years and phase-by-phase
development of national literature emphasizing the works of
Ukrainian classic and modern authors.
