Exhibition «Research work of Private High Educational Institutions (2006-2010)»

October 18-19 of 2010 in the Ministry of Education and Science an exhibition «Research work of Private Highs Educational Institutions (2006-2010) » took place.
An exposition of the exhibition of DITB came into representatives` of the Ministry of Education and Science and rectors` and pro-rectors` of other Institutes notice.
Research materials which were presented correspond to modern requirements and are instrumental in the Institute active integration in Bologna process. A certificate of the exhibition participant was got.

Scientific work at Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business (DITB) is coordinated by the Academic Council.

In its work the DITB Academic Council is guided by the Laws of Ukraine  “About Higher Education”, “About Scientific and Scientific-technical Activity”, and also by legal acts and certificates of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The DITB Academic Council is composed of 28 people: 10 doctors and 14 candidates of sciences and includes an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, an academician of the Academy of the Higher School of Ukraine, an academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, an academician of the Ukrainian Ecological Academy of Sciences, an academician of the International Academy of Digital Technologies, an academician of the Academy of Tourism of Ukraine, an honorary doctor of the Russian International Academy of Tourism.

Its membership includes leading scientists working in the field of economics, management, marketing, jurisprudence, history, philology, ecology, biology, and medicine.

Scientific research in the sphere of tourist business has been carried out by the seven Chairs of the Institute: management, economic disciplines, organization of tourism, mathematical-information and general technical disciplines, foreign languages N1 and N2, and humanities and in two science centres: the Centre for Science of Advanced Research on Recreational Territories and the International Centre for Tourism Development of Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business.

By the decision of the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on 18.02.2003 (record of proceedings N1/2-6), the Academic Council of Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business was granted the right to confer on scientific and pedagogical workers the academic status of docent.
