Donetsk Institute of Tourist
Business trains highly skilled specialists in the sphere of
tourist business. Departments of the Institute play very important
role in this process; their work is directed on improvement of
studying process effectiveness.
The
studying process in Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business in
organized by Office of Head of Studies which is guided by the Law of
Ukraine of “Higher Education”, Provisions about the studying process
organization in Higher Educational Institutions, Orders and
Instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Organization of Studying Process covers
the activity on system of organizational and didactic means of
training of higher qualification as well as formation of their
professional competency, mobility, quick adaptability; helps keeping
their theoretical knowledge and practical skills up-to-date. Aim of
the organization of the studying process is to apply in the
Institute educational and qualification standards of Higher School.
There are 73 disciplines studied in
Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business in the process of Bachelors,

The department of Bologna Process is
dedicated to organization of credit based modular learning process.
Department of International Relations cooperates actively with
national and foreign Partner Higher Educational Institutions.
Department of Job Placement and Business Cooperation with
Enterprises establishes business contacts with the enterprises,
organizations and entrepreneurs for job placement of the graduates
of the Institute.
The Education
and Methodic Centre appoints the main areas of methodic
work of the Institute, facilitates the implementation of the
progressive forms and methods of education. The Department
of Information Technologies constantly and actively
implements the newest IT in the Educational Process. The
Graduates Department of DITB coordinates the
process of preparing students to receive Bachelor’s, Specialist’s
and Master’s qualification levels. The Department of
Internships, Excursions and Tourism allows the students to
solidify their skills received while studying the “Sightseeing
Activities” discipline and acquaints with the elementaries of
tourist activity; and the Educational and Training Centre
“Tourist Enterprise “Tourist”
allows the students to learn
the Software specialized course to work in the enterprises of
tourist sphere.
