Successful cooperation
with the Peace Corps DITB (USA)
Expert’s invitation from the U.S. Peace Corps to
teach Englishhas become a tradition in Donetsk Institute of Tourist
Business. In December 2011, at DITB arrived Peace Corps volunteer
Robert Lang. It will enhance students' knowledge DITB in English for
two years.

The successful development of
international relations DITB
Continue to successfully develop the friendly relations between
the Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business and Rostov State Economic
University. This university is a leader in the field of economic
education in the Southern Federal District of the Russian
Federation. Guide DITB received an invitation to celebrate the
80-th anniversary of the founding of the Rostov State Economic
University. October 7, 2011 in celebration of a delegation of
Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business, as part of the Rector,
Professor, Doctor of Economics DanilchukValentin and vice-rector for
International Relations, Ph.D. Vitaly Razumnuy. During the visit,
teachers DITB congratulated their colleagues Rostov acquainted with
the scientific and methodological basis of the Faculty of National
and World Economy, which teaches students majoring Socio-Cultural
Service and Tourism.

Traditionally, students of Donetsk institute of tourist business
practices are held overseas, which helps them improve their skills
in the tourism business. At the summer 2011 more than twenty
students have successfully passed DITB practice in the United
States. During the internship students to improve their knowledge of
English and to gain experience in American children's holiday
camps.

DITB student won a grant for a two-week training in
Poland Fifth-year student DmitrievRuslan, who has
frequently been the winner of the international and Ukrainian
conferences and competitions, once again glorified Donetsk Institute
of Tourist Business at the international level. RuslanDmitriev
won a grant for a teaching internship in Poland, which will last two
weeks. There he will have the opportunity to become acquainted with
their Polish peers, meet representatives of the academic community
and civil society organizations, as well as attend lectures,
seminars and cultural events. Keep it up!!
24-31 May 2011 in Tbilisi a
coordination meeting of project participants TEMPUS «electronic
network for distance learning training in tourism (Belarus, Ukraine
and Georgia)," which was attended by teachers DITB prof. Razumney

for distance learning for training in tourism.

As part of TEMPUS from 3 to 10 April, 2011 Teachers
DITB Zadneprovska E.L., Kulesh V.G. were trained in dual high school
(DHBW) Baden-Wuerttemberg in Ravensburg, Germany. Drokin N.I.,
Kravtsov S.S. has been trained in the European Academy in Bolzano
(EURAC), Italy. During training they studied the experience of
European colleagues in the field of distance learning, the
organization of hotel and restaurant industry and familiar with the
level of development of European tourism science.
The results of a DHBW: - Studied the experience
of dual instruction in higher education, combining theoretical and
practical training; - Studied the activities of the section
management hotel business under the guidance of Doctor of Science,
Professor Wolfgang Fuchs.

The results of in Ravensburg: - Studied the
German system of classification of hotels; - Review the
activities of enterprises of hotel and restaurant industry, the
Ravensburg.

European Academy Bolzano (EURAC). Founded in 1992, participates
in projects from 15 countries in Europe. The main activities of the
European Academy: Applied Linguistics, Minorities and Autonomy,
Sustainability, Management and Corporate Culture, Life Science.

DITB student won a grant for two-week
training in Poland
Fifth-year student Dmitriev Ruslan, who repeatedly
became the winner of the international and Ukrainian conferences and
competitions, once again praised Donetsk Institute of Tourist
Business at the international level. Ruslan Dmitriev won a grant
for a teaching internship in Poland, which will last two weeks.

Student participation in the International
DITB scientific student conference in Lithuania
Students Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business have
become a tradition each year to participate in international
scientific student conferences that are organized by our university
partner - Kaunas College (Lithuania). So, this year two students
Kuzmenko Alexander and Marina Nozadze together with their teacher
Kizilova A.V. participated in the International Scientific Students
Conference "The relevance of the business through the eyes of future
managers," which took place on 9 March 2011. During the conference
students DITB brilliantly made their presentations, but also had the
opportunity to see the main attractions in Kaunas and the Lithuanian
capital - Vilnius.

In October 2010, teachers DITB took an active part
in international scientific conferences. So, on October 13-14,
2010. Associate Professor Elena Kuznetsova and graduate
student Kulesh V.G. visited on an official visit in
Kielce (Poland) and took part in the international
scientific-practical conference "Social and economic conditions in
the business development," which was organized by the Graduate
School of economy, tourism and social sciences - university, which
for many years in DITB by scientific and practical cooperation.
Teachers DITB successfully made presentations and were personally
awarded by the rector Ian Telusom certificates. At the invitation
of the Dean Faculty of Management, University of Presov,
Professor Robert Stefka d.e.n. Professor Turiyanskaya M.M. and
associate professor Drokin N.I. participated in the III
International scientific conference "Management of 2010. Knowledge
and management during the crisis and its further development ", held
on the basis of the Presov University (Slovakia) on 21-22 October
2010. Teachers DITB made at the conference, highlighting important
issues in the field of management, for which they were awarded
certificates. Also Ph.D., Associate Professor Ivchenko L.A. and
associate professor, Ph.D. Ovcharenko L.A. at the invitation of
Vice-Rector of the European College of Hospitality and Tourism took
part in the correspondence of the III International Scientific
Conference "Problems of marine tourism and tourism coastal regions,"
which was organized by the European College of Hospitality and
Tourism, as well as the Graduate School, the Institute of
Oceanology, Sopot, and the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot
(Poland) on 21-23 October 2010.

Drokin N.I. participated in the Coordinating Council within the
framework of TEMPUS "Network of e-learning for training in tourism."
The seminar was held in Minsk on 25-30 October 2010. The seminar was
attended by representatives of universities in Germany, Austria,
Italy, Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia. The main topics discussed were
the establishment of distance learning courses, the participating
institutions on the basis of European experience and mastery of
technique e-learning.
