VIII International Scientific Practical
Conference «State and prospects of the
informative innovative market development of tourist
services»
According to the regional Program in Donetsk region
the year 2010 was declared as the Year of innovations that
stipulated the searches of prospects of tourist services development
market in the informative and innovative direction. Within the
framework of this project Donetsk institute of tourist business
organized in September, 2010 in Svyatogorsk the VIII International
Scientific Practical Conference «State and prospects of the
informative innovative market development of tourist
services». In the work of the Conference 53 organization from
Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, USA, Republic Cote d'Ivoire
took part. Themes of the Conference: 1. Information
technologies in the innovative development. 2. Management of
the socio-economic development of subjects of the tourist services
market. 3. Innovations as a way to increase tourist
attractiveness of territories. It should be mentioned the
importance of scientific and practical questions, that were touched

of the Conference presented and exemined questions of the
informative innovations use in process of tourist enterprises
of Ukraine taking into account progressive ideas and technologies. A
special attention was paid to the questions of introduction and use
of single informative space with the help of GIS-technologies,
to the questions of development of measures of popularization and
diversification of all types of tourism and also to the questions of
improvement of quality of tourist services, the level of
qualification of specialists at tourist enterprises with the help of
e-learning system.
The delegation of
lecturers of DITB consisting of Ruhlyadin V.I., Mishechkin
G.V., Kurbatskyj E.V. and Kulesh V.G. presented worthily Ukraine
during the Second International Scientific Practical Conference in
Sochi (the Russian Federation).
From the 29th of October till
the 1st of November 2009 in SOCHI UNIVERSITY OF RECREATION
AND TOURISM that is 20 this year the Second
International Scientific Practical Conference «Workers
Preparation for the XXII Olympic Games «Sochi -2014» and XI
Paralympics Winter Games: problems and prospects» was taking place.
Guests from China, Canada, Grate Britain, Ukraine and Byelorussia
took part and exchanged their experience in the volunteers’
preparation. DITB representatives delivered the report «Volunteers`
employment analysis during mass sport activity» (in terms of the
European Youthful Football Champion «Euro-2009» Donetsk, Ukraine) »
(Ruhlyadin V.I., Kurbatskyj E.V.); «Euro-2012 and Sochi – 2014:
common problems and preparation particularity» (Mishechkin G.V.);
«Particularity of the preparation program formation and volunteers`
motivation for the mass sport activity carrying (in terms of the
European Football Champion Euro-2012. Ukraine) » (Kulesh
V.G.). Participations of the conference produced recommendations
for the preparation of Sochi for the worthy participation in Winter
Olympic Games carrying
«Sochi-2014».
September 26-28, 2008 in Svyatogorsk
7th All-Ukrainian Scientific Practical Conference «State and
Perspectives of Tourism Development in the World and Ukraine in
advance of The European Football Championship 2012», organized by
Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business. Scientists from the East and West of Ukraine,
Crimea and Kiev participated in the Conference.
Valentin F. Danilchuk, Candidate in
Engineering, Professor, Rector of Donetsk Institute of Tourist
Business, Olga K. Kobets, Deputy Head of the Board of
Culture and Tourism of Donetsk Regional State
Administration. Sergey I. Priymachuk, Director of National
Park “Svyatye Gory” (“Holy Mountains”) and other honored
guests addressed their greetings to the participants of the
conference.
At the Plenary Sitting 7 talks
were represented. They covered different aspects of tourist
business. Should be mentioned vastitude of the researches and the
possibility of their practical application.
The work of the Conference was organized in three
Panel Sittings:
1st Panel Sitting: Problems and solutions of
the national and international tourism, their peculiarities in
preparations and realization of the Football European Championships
Euro-2009 and Euro-2012 in Ukraine. 2nd Panel Sitting:
Innovation technologies in marketing and tourist business. 3rd
Panel Sitting: Tourism and peculiarities in training of specialists
for tourist activity.
At the sections more than 55 scientific proceedings
were heard, various in topics and scientific thematic scope.
At the Conclusive Panel Sitting as a result of
opinions exchange and intense discussions the following
recommendations were elaborated:
1. The main task of those engaged in tourist branch
should become execution of the programmes focused on the
preparations for the Football European Championship Euro-2012.
2. The main attention should be paid to the image
building of Ukraine as a state, especially to Donbass and
Svyatgorye, which are attractive for tourists due to their unique
resources as well as possibilities to provide European standards of
services.
3. Improving the forms and methods of training of
tourist business work force on a continuous basis, elaborating
individual theoretical approaches and practical solutions taking
into account foreign experience.
Based on the materials of the
Conference in November 2008 collection of scientific papers of the
7th All-Ukrainian Scientific Practical Conference «State and
Perspectives of Tourism Development in the World and Ukraine in
advance of The European Football Championship 2012» will be
published.
DAYS OF SCIENCE IN DITB
According to Donetsk Municipal Programme «Students’
Science Week – 2008» in Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business under
financial auspices of State Board of Family and Youth Affairs and
International Relations of Donetsk City Council 6-7th of May, 2008
the Tenth International Scientific Practical Conference of Students,
Aspirants and Young Scientists took place. Topic of the Conference
was «Problems and Perspectives of Development of National Inbound
and Outbound Tourism: Natural, Material and Technical Basis,
Economical and Social Effectiveness» aroused interest of Students
and Young Scientists from Higher Educational Institutions
(HEIs) of Ukraine, CIS countries and Poland.
24 HEIs have represented their vision of different
aspects of this problem in scientific reports. Materials are exposed
in scientific collected volume, published before the beginning of
the Conference. Students and young scientists from Smolensk
Humanitarian University, T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovye State
University, Kharkov National University of Economics, Odessa State
University of Economics, Kharkov College of Trade and Economics of
Kiev National University of Trade and Economics, numerous Donetsk
HEEs: M.I. Tugan-Baranovsky National University of Trade and
Economics, University of Economics and Law, State University of
Management directly participated in the work of the Plenary and
Panel sittings.
At the Plenary sitting the 6th of May Rector of
Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business Professor Valentin Fedorovich
Danilchuk presented a report about organization of scientific and
educational work, achievements of scientists and students. Koneva
Oksana Ivanovna, Deputy Head of State Board of Family and Youth
Affairs and International Relations of Donetsk City Council
delivered a greeting speech to more than 200 participants of
Conference.
Students Marina Viktorovna Ginkul (Odessa), Yelena
Mikhailovna Ivanchenko (Smolensk), Sergey Aleksandrovich Sherstiuk
(Tiraspol), Aspirant Natalya Vadimovna Kuleshova (Kharkov) reported
about their HEEs and directions of researches in the area of tourism
development. DITB at the Plenary meeting was represented by Aspirant
Tatyana Mikhaylovna Mishastaya ; Director of Scientific Centre of
Complex Researches of Tourist Recreational Territories, Candidate in
Biology, Docent Nikolay SpiridonovichKudokotsev , Head of
Students’ Scientific Community student Ruslan YevgenievichDmitriev .
In conclusion of the Plenary Sitting there were performances by
vocalists and the cheerleading team of DITB, multiple winners of the
Championship of Ukraine. For the guests of Donetsk the city tour
was given.
May, 7 the following Panel Sittings took place:

actuality, scientific and practical importance of the subject
arisen, level of competence in foreign languages was estimated.

Conference.
In 2006/2007 studying years the following
Conferences were held by DITB.
1) Institute Research and Practice Conference of
Students and Masters, 18-19 April, 2006 on subject «Challenging
Scientific Issues in the Programs of Humanitarian, Economic and
Informatics Areas and Management» . The work was held at 5
Break-out sessions, 2 best performances in each session were chosen.
Numbers of participants – 145, 64 scientific papers were published.
2) During 29 September – 1 October, 2006 in
Svyatogorsk VI International Research and Practice Conference
«Development of Entertainment Sphere is the Basis of Contemporary
Concept of Tourist Business Effectiveness Improvement» took place.
Representatives from 41 Higher Educational Institutions and
organizations from Ukraine, Russian Federation, Belarus, Uzbekistan,
Germany participated in the Conference.
The work of the Conference was organized in 3
Break-out sessions according to the following topics:
1. The ways and economic effectiveness of
Entertainment sphere development.
2. Activation of tourist business due to
development of tourist centers Entertainment parks.
3. Folk-customs and religious traditions in the
context of the Entertainment Industry. At the conclusive Plenary
sitting the reports of the Break-out sessions Chairmen were heard.
The reports were about the discussions on the number of performances
and the suggestions made.
Participants of the Conference emphasized that:
• the questions arisen in the performances at the
Plenary sitting and Break-sessions will benefit the development of
the new Research Practical direction in the area of Methodic
approaches to the conditions of forming the entertaining sphere
infrastructure, social and economic assessment of the impact of
entertaining sphere on the tourism development and its input in
economy of the country;
• the purposes of the Conference set by organizing
committee were achieved;
• materials and conclusions of the Conference
can be used in the studying process of the Higher Educational
Establishments, in process of Scientific and Research Work, by the
Directors of the enterprises of the tourist branch, practitioners
and managers of tourist sphere.
Conference conclusive recommendations: 1. To
the organizations and establishments that do the researches in the
area of tourism: 1.1. The main purpose of the scientific,
pedagogic employees and practitioners in tourist sphere should
become National Programs delivery along the main lines of the
tourism development for the perspective. 1.2. Scientific
research work should be focused on argumentation of the ways of
development of tourist business services internal market, on its
structure including entertainment sphere and geared to economic
possibilities of different population groups of the countries as
well as to the natural resources and tourist destinations
structure. 1.3. In research works special importance should be
given to the peculiarities of the tourist development in industrial
urban areas on the basis of their recreational areas giving
appropriate consideration to the economic, ecologic and social
conditions peculiarities. 1.4. Results of the scientific
researches should be headlined in specialized scientific collected
papers, monographs, in professional journals, at the scientific
practical conferences and seminars dedicated to the tourism
development topics as well as at the tourist exhibitions. 1.5. It
is reasonable while developing national information system
“Tourism” to include entertainment objects of various types along
with the information about recreational resources, tourism objects
and its infrastructure. 2. To the governmental, regional and
local Tourism Administration Authorities: 2.1. In order to
increase international tourism segment in tourist flows structure
thematic parks and entertainment centers development should be
considered as an important strategic way. Thematic parks and
entertainment centers development should be carried out according to
international standards and requirements, include advanced
entertainment objects infrastructure harmonious with the purposes
and tasks of specific recreational territory. 2.2. To initiate
and coordinate Investment Programmes and Business Plans Development
at the regional and local levels to develop tourist destinations and
complex render of different types of services for foreign and
national tourists. 2.3. Broadcast the experience of effective
performance of enterprises and tourist business structures using
Mass Media (newspapers, magazines, television etc.). 3. To the
Educational Institutions and Faculties in the process of tourist
business cadres training and re-training: 3.1. In different
qualification levels specialists training for the sphere of tourism
the knowledge of 2 of 3 foreign languages, computer technologies,
economic sciences should be provided; beliefs, convictions, high
moral qualities of the personality should be developed. 3.2.
With the purpose of spreading experience and scientific achievements
in training process and in scientific researches the recommendation
is to exchange scientific and methodic projects, lections courses,
study guides, collected scientific papers, as well as mutual
publishing of the articles in scientific tourism and economics
oriented journals. 3.3. Recommend to the Higher Educational
Institutions to hold Scientific Practical Conferences on topical
issues of national tourism development no less than once in two
years.
April 16-17, 2007 The 9th Interuniversity
Scientific Practical conference of Students and Young Scientists
“Perspective Directions of Development and Improvement of Tourism
Product and improvement of Quality of Services Rendering” was held
in Donetsk Institute of Tourist Business in honor of the 75th
anniversary of Donetsk region. Issues raised at the Conference
quickened the interest of the Students from Odessa State Economic
University, Volyn Institute of Economics and Management and Donetsk
Higher Educational Institutions (State University of Management, M.
Tugan-Baranovsky National University of Economics and Trade,
Institute of Market and Social Politics).
Performances were discussed at the four Break-out
sessions:
1. Perspective ways of tour product development and
improvement, its main elements to contribute to spiritual
development;
2. Services quality and economic effectiveness of
tourist enterprise;
3. Areas of scientific researches in Master
theses;
4. Scientific and practical aspects of the tourist
sphere in the reports performed in foreign languages.
Sittings of all the Sessions were held at a high
organizational level, was mentioned the effective work of the First
Break-out session (chairperson Nikolay S. Kudokotsev, Candidate in
Biology, Docent; co-chairperson Liudmila S. Ostrovskaya; secretary
Ye.A. Gerchak, student) and of the Second Break-out session
(chairperson Svetlana N. Golubnichaya, Candidate in Biology;
co-chairperson Liudmila I. Gatilova, Candidate in Economics,
Professor; secretary A.D. Marinova, student) The estimation of
the scientific level of the reports made was done by the competent
judges. The winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd places) were awarded with the
Certificates of Merit.
Our guests from Odessa were awarded with four
Certificates, students from Donetsk HEIs were also honoured with the
Certificates. Were mentioned the high level performances made by the
Masters of DITB I. Gries, N. Goncharuk, T. Prisiuk, Yu. Kovalchuk,
S. Gayevskiy, A. Marinova, A. Burakovskaya, N. Derevyanko, Ye.
Kovaliova and others. The collection of the written reports was
published (volume 8,1 pr.p.).
4) During previous years the following
International Conferences were held by DITB: "Tourism is perspective
branch of Ukrainian Economy" (November 20-23, 1995); "Tourism is a
highly remunerative branch of national economy" (November 24-27,
1997); "Tourism development is an important area of Ukrainian
economy raising" (December 16-18 1999, Svyatogorsk); "Tourist
phenomenon: economic, social, ecologic, cultural and historical
preconditions and consequences" (May 14-16, 2002, Svyatogorsk);
"Scientific and practical aspects of tourist centers and thematic
parks development and functioning” (May 27-28, 2005);
«Development of entertainment sphere is the basis of contemporary
concept of tourist business effectiveness improvement» (September 29
– October 1, 2006). The collections of the written reports and
theses of all the Conferences were published.
5) The following Conferences of the Students,
Aspirants and Young Scientists were held (3 of them are
international): "Tourism development in Ukraine and Donbass" (May
26, 1998); "Man, ecology, recreation and tourism" (May 19-21, 1999);
"Ways and conditions of tourism development in Ukraine" (May 23-24,
2000); "Tourism is a social, spiritual, cultural and economic
phenomenon of contemporaniety" (May 22-23, 2001); "Future of tourism
depends on the youth" (February 19-20, 2002); "Problems and
perspectives of sustainable development of tourism and services
sector in the world and in Ukraine" (April 16-17, 2003); «Business
education and foreign languages for tourist business and services»
(February 25-26, 2004); «Education and spirituality of the youth is
the basis of sustainable development of tourist industry of Ukraine»
(February 24-25, 2005).
6. Teacher and students of DITB participate in
Conferences and Seminars held by the other HEIs and organizations.
During 2006–2007 academic year 35 teachers were participants of 17
Conferences and published their papers in collections, for example
in Moldova State Pedagogic University (in English, Yekaterina V.
Myalitsyna), in Kostiuk Psychology Institute of Academy of Pedagogic
Sciences of Ukraine (Larisa D. Podolskaya), Altayskiy State
University in Barnaul (A.A. Blackbern, Nikolay S. Kudokotsev); in
Rostov University of Services of Uzhnorossiyskiy State University of
Economics and Services (Ye. Panasiuk), in Bulgarian Technical
University in Varna (Igor L. Semichastnyy), in Sevastopol National
Technical University (Tatyana V. Stolyar), in Chernovtsy National
University (Viktoriya Ye. Shimkova) and others.
Students took part in 8 international and
all-Ukrainian Scientific Practical Conferences, including three of
them in foreign languages. For example, in Dnepropetrovsk Technical
Institute, Kiev Spiritual Academy, Kharkov Automobile National
University and many other HEIs of Donetsk.
