In 2007-2008 studying year there are 14 academic pedagogical employees, among them 4 (28,6%) Doctors in Sciences and Professors (2 Doctors in Economics and 2 Doctors in Engineering), 7 (50%) Candidates in Sciences and Docents (5 Candidates in Economics and 2 Candidates in State Administration) and 3 Aspirants working at the Chair of Management .

Head of the Chair is Turiyanskaya Mariya Mikhaylovna – Doctor in Economics, Professor. She has 40 publications dedicated to the Researches of different aspects of Management (total volume is 65,76 p.p., 54,67 p.p. among them belong to author), including 3 monographs.
She also has Certificates:
of the University «City Science center» (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) for the course «Western markets: Investment methods and practices» (February, 1997);

of Mississippi International Development Consortium (Jackson, Mississippi, USA) for non-state training programme  «Improvement of manager’s professional skills in non-state organizations» (27 August – 17 September, 1998);

of International Cooperation Institute «Support of small enterprises development in Ukraine» (16-17 of May, 2001).

Rector of DITB Danilchuk Valentin Fyodorovich is Candidate in Engineering, Professor of the Chair of Management.
He has 58 publications dedicated to the Researches of different aspects of Tourist branch, including 2 monographs, 1 study guide with the classification code by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. He has 3 patented inventions dedicated to the issues in tourist branch, certificate of the registration of right of authorship for elaborating «Circuit design of establishing «Legends of Priazovye» theme park».

Aleynikova Galina Matveyevna is Doctor in Engineering, Professor of the Chair of Management, Deputy Rector on Scientific Methodic work.
She has 34 publications dedicated to Researches of different aspects of tourist branch, including 3 monographs of joint authorship (8 p.p.), one of them is dedicated to the issues of tourism; 2 study guides with the classification code by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine (15,6 p.p.); 4 courses of lectures dedicated to the issues of tourist activity are elaborated (23,9 p.p.). He has 8 certificates of authorship for the inventions.

Goryagin Vladimir Fyodorovich is Doctor in Engineering, Professor of the Chair of Management, Deputy Rector in Practical Tourist Business, laureate of State Prize of USSR in 1975. He has 48 publications dedicated to the Researches of different aspects of tourist branch, including 4 monographs, 13 excursions, 11 articles.
Disciplines taught: Civil Defense.

Drevitskaya Irina Yuryevna is Candidate in State Administration, Docent of the Chair of Management. She has 8 publications, dedicated to the Researches of different aspects of tourist branch, including: 2 study guides of joint authorship and 6 articles dedicated to the tourist branch.
Disciples taught: Marketing, Management of Organizations, Management in Marketing, Personnel Management.
Chair of Management is actively participating in Scientific activity of the Institute and occupies in the problems and takes up the problems of effective management of Tourist Industry in the territory of Ukraine and Donetsk Region.
